Eric Schaffer
VP of Mortgage Lending

In 2012 when I began my career making mortgages I was taught, "never make assumptions, always be transparent, and treat clients as if they were your brother or your mother." Thank G-d, I have many client friends that were once strangers, and I've helped hundreds of families build stability and fit their mortgage into their future financial goals. It's been a great job, and I'm in touch with clients for years after our first encounter because of the trust and confidence we built along the way. Then I get introduced to family, extended family, co-workers, neighbors, and friends and before I know it I'm coming to your birthday parties, weddings, and other celebrations. I feel a bit of pride having been blessed with the opportunity to give people the service and insight that I hope someone would give me in a circumstance where I need expert guidance and support, especially when there is a huge sum of money involved.

I start by thoroughly educating clients before the mortgage transaction, enabling you to clarify your interests and timeframe. I ask pertinent questions to fully understand your options, and explore those options with you until you feel well informed and comfortable with your chosen loan program. Then I give you an assessment on how to put yourself in the best position to save time, resources, energy, and to get the lowest rate and best terms you can qualify for. I use all the tools and knowledge I possess to give you insight and transparency into the loan approval process. So when we're finished, sitting there together at the closing table, we can look each other in the eye and know that you received the very best terms, rate, and service possible. My word of mouth reputation is attached to every transaction. You can count on me to be thorough up-front, investing time and resources, offering insight regarding grants or benefits you may qualify for as well as tips and tools to help you with your goals.

My world is your credit challenges, ridiculously complex income analysis, last minute pre-approvals, primary, second home, and investment property goals. Doesn't matter if you're out in the country or out of the country, I communicate clearly and get the job done early. Whether you're upsizing, downsizing, right sizing, 1st time home buying, refinancing, relocating, marrying, divorcing, investing, retiring, or an active veteran of the military (thank you for your service) or a retired serviceperson who's military discharge papers were destroyed in a fire 50 years ago, I can help. Whatever the challenge is, I've likely seen it before. If not, I'll work with you to figure it out.

A little bit about me…well, we'll get to talkin' and you'll know plenty. Looking forward to meeting you. - Eric
