In 1988, I started in the mortgage industry and have seen many changes in the mortgage process. Technology has become a big factor and being a Vice President in Mortgage Lending at Guaranteed Rate is very exciting. I enjoy assisting my customers with one of the biggest financial decisions they will ever make. Owning a home creates a foundation for many people. It establishes roots and stability. My husband and I purchased a home the first year we were married. It is great being a homeowner and not paying rent. We have seen the benefit of building equity and enjoyed the stability that homeownership provides. We have two wonderful daughters and a son in law. I love spending time with my family. Relaxing walks outside, making music and doing needlework are my hobbies. And in the fall, I love SEC football.
