My primary responsibility as the VP of Mortgage is to find clients, assess their needs, and guide them through the loan origination process from start to finish. I love the challenge of finding the best solution for each client and working tirelessly to ensure they are satisfied with their mortgage experience.
I take pride in my exceptional customer service skills and ability to think innovatively to find creative solutions for clients looking to purchase or refinance their homes. In some cases, when clients face limited mortgage options due to their particular circumstances, I work even harder to develop solutions that many other lenders cannot offer
What sets me apart from my peers is my commitment to my client's well-being. I genuinely care about helping people achieve their dream of homeownership and providing affordable options to existing homeowners. I view my clients as long-term relationships rather than mere transactions, and I take pride in being there for them every step of the way.
Before transitioning into sales, I gained valuable experience in mortgage processing and underwriting. As a loan processor, my primary responsibility was to oversee the logistics of getting clients from the application stage to the closing table. Later, when I transitioned into the role of an underwriter, my focus shifted to approving clients based on their financial qualifications and ensuring that they met the necessary guidelines and criteria.
My most significant professional accomplishment to date is being a five-time winner of the prestigious National Achievers Award, a nationally recognized honor. It is an achievement that only comes through hard work and a firm commitment to excellence.
Although I am based in Scottsdale, Arizona, I conduct business nationwide and am recognized as a national sales representative. However, I was born and raised in Stillwater, Minnesota, and my Midwestern values have shaped my approach to my personal and professional life. I graduated from West Virginia University in 2003 with a degree in Political Science and have been working in the mortgage industry ever since.
When I am not hard at work making homeownership a reality for my clients, I enjoy spending time with my wife, son, and daughter, engaging in sports activities with my children, and playing golf whenever possible. My passions are my family, and I strive to raise my children to the best of my ability. My core values are focused on integrity, doing what's right, and meeting people where they are and not where I want them to be.
