I have been in the mortgage industry since the late 90s after attending Augsburg College in Minneapolis, with a degree focused on accounting. I began my career on the operations/underwriting side of the industry before moving to the sales advisory role in 2001. Having worked my way through an accounting degree in college by bartending and waiting tables, I had what I consider to be the best training ground for being a loan officer. I have been a President's Club member for the past 11 years. I was an inaugural honoree by the Minneapolis/St Paul Magazine as one of their Super Mortgage Professionals, and have since been awarded this designation multiple times.

I have lived in Minnesota my entire life, attending college at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. I live in Woodbury, with my wife Dana who has been a school teacher in Woodbury for many years. We stay busy keeping up with my kids and their activities. I particularly enjoy coaching my son's basketball team, going to his soccer games and my daughter's concerts with the Minnesota Youth Symphonies.

As a family we support a variety of charitable organizations, but the two I feel strongest about are the Wounded Warrior Project and Feed My Starving Children.

I contribute from each file closed to the WWP as a way to honor, support and remember all of those who have given far more for their country. Feed My Starving Children is a great charity and one I have supported for many years. As a family we recently participated in the Woodbury Feeds event where over 4 million meals were prepared for delivery to the needy in third world countries.
