Peggy Raudenbush is a Branch Manager at Guaranteed Rate. She was born in Washington and has lived here her entire life, growing up in Tacoma and graduating from Stadium High School in 1987. Peggy's family is local, too. She loves spending time with her two grown sons, her daughter-in-law and grandchildren. As a dog lover, her two golden retrievers have to be added to this list!
There's nowhere else Peggy could imagine living or being as happy, and she knows her homebuyers feel the same way. It's understandable why anyone would want to settle down in a place with flawless weather, endless things to see and landscapes ready for all sorts of adventure.
Peggy has been in the mortgage industry for a long time, starting in 1988 as a 19-year-old trying to find her perfect career. Hired as a processor, she worked her way up to do most loan-adjacent jobs: Closer, Operations Manager, Underwriter, Sales Manager and Loan Officer. This means she understands her transactions from every angle, making her knowledge of the entire loan process invaluable.
VA loans have a special place in Peggy's heart. There are so many people in her family who have served: her grandfather, father, cousins, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews- each as important as the next. Peggy knew back in the day when VA loans were not as regulated that it was important to make sure our service members were cared for. That's why she's been doing these loans since 1988. Helping first time homebuyers and move-up buyers realize the dream of homeownership they never thought possible means the world to her. Communication, honesty, openness and availability have kept her passionate about lending. Being Peggy's next client means you're never alone, experiencing everything together each step of the way.
